Ministries
Primary Sunday School
Children ages 3 through 5th grade are part of the Primary Sunday School program. Our mission is to create a safe, loving and interactive environment where kids are encouraged to learn about and grow in Christ. To do this, we provide teachers who emphasize love, procedures that are safe, and developmentally-appropriate curriculum.
Nursery service is available during the Sunday School time for children 2 and under.
Youth Sunday School
Sunday School classes are available for youth in junior high (grades 6 through 8) and senior high (grades 9 through 12). Our mission is for youth to grow in the knowledge and love of Jesus, and to live their daily lives in service of Christ.
Both junior high and senior high youth also meet weekly during the school year, and for special events throughout the whole year, including summer service trips and retreat weekends.
Adult Sunday School
Sunday School classes are available for adults of all ages from college-age to the oldest among us. Classes are generally grouped by age/life-stage, and Sunday School times focus on fellowship with one another – sharing one another’s lives – as well as Bible studies, book studies or other discussion-based formats. Contact the church office if you would like more information about our current classes!
Connect is a midweek program from September through April that promotes Christian formation through intergenerational relationships within the congregation and in the community.
Connect nights begin with a fellowship meal, followed by Bible studies and activities for both children and adults. Children in kindergarten through 5th grade meet by grade level while Jr. High Youth and High School Youth meet in their groups. There are also opportunities for adults to join in Bible studies or other study groups.
Jr. High & High School Youth
6th – 8th grade youth make up the JYF (Junior Youth Fellowship) and meet each Sunday morning for Sunday School and most Wednesday evenings during the school year. JYF activities and service events throughout the year include Snow Camp at Rocky Mountain Mennonite Camp, Know Jesus at Hesston College and local service projects.
The MYF (Mennonite Youth Fellowship) for high school youth currently meets most Wednesday evenings from 7 to 8 p.m. during the school year for Bible studies, service projects, and activities. Contact the office for current event schedule.
