In response to the dramatic rise of COVID-19 in our community and the strain that this has put on our local and regional hospitals, the Elders have made the difficult decision to pause in person activities for a time. We want to do our part to slow the spread, to support the medical community, keep our businesses open, and to help keep our children in school. These changes are effective immediately and until further notice.
Here are a few details:
- Sunday morning worship will be live-streamed only – through our YouTube channel.
- Sunday Evening Service will not be meeting at this time.
- Sunday School for Children and Youth will not be meeting in person. Be on the lookout for resources from Sunday School leaders/teachers.
- Jr. High and Sr. High Youth Groups will be meeting online.
- Adult Sunday School classes should decide if they will continue to meet in person.
- The church offices will remain open.
- The church building will be available for groups of 45 or less.
Thank you for your flexibility and patience as we continue to navigate these challenging and ever-changing times. We see this decision as part of our Christian witness and call to care for and love others, especially the vulnerable. We will continue to monitor the situation in our county and we look forward to meeting in person soon.
